Reset and Recover Twitter Password

October 12, 2017

Twitter is an online update for news and social networking service where users post and interact with messages, which is also called as "tweets", restricted to a word limit of 140 characters only. All the registered users can post tweets, but those who are not registered can only read these tweets and to reply they need to first create a twitter account for themselves. Users can easily access Twitter through its website, messages or a mobile device app will also work.

Steps for Resetting, Changing or Recovering the Twitter password

  • First of all, from the sign in page of Twitter for iOS or Android app, select the Forgot password
  • Now enter the email address, phone number, or Twitter username. In case you have more than one account then you can simply not use the option of the phone number as they all will not be linked to the phone number.
  • Click on the email address where you wish to receive the password reset link.
  • Now check your email inbox as the password reset link mail will be sent. Twitter will at the same time send a message to your account's email address.
  • Click the reset link in that email provided above.
  • Now choose a new password.
  • Then re-confirm the new password.
  • After this, click on the OK option.

Once you are done with the above steps are done then the password will be reset for the account and the account will work smoothly. In case the issues still persist then you can get in touch with the Twitter customer service.
