• Go to att.com/emailreset

• Under forgot user id/password section select password 

• Enter your full BellSouth email address and your last name

• Click continue

• Under select reset, method choose to receive a temporary password

• You can receive your temporary password via text message or email. Select any one of them and continue

• Find and enter your temporary password and continue

• Now create the new password, confirm it and select continue

For resetting your Bellsouth email address with security questions:

• Go to att.com/emailreset

• Under forgot user id/password section select password 

• Enter your full BellSouth email address and your last name

• Click continue

• Under select reset, method chooses I'll answer my security questions.

• Answer your security question and continue

• Now create the new password, confirm it and select continue

How to change Bellsouth email Password

If you know your Bellsouth email address and you want to change your password:

• Go to ATT login page and use your BellSouth email credentials.

• Go to My Profile and select Set Personal Password section. 

• Enter your current password, new password and confirm the same in the relevant fields.

• Click Save Changes to finish.

Account is locked due to the wrong password

If your account is locked, it may be due to the wrong password being entered too many times.  Following are the options to regain access to your account:

• Wait for an hour and try to access your email again.

If you could see the error message that your account is inactive, it infers that your account has been flagged as a sender of excessive spam.
